Building confidence and self-belief

It is very difficult to achieve your goals and stay motivated when you lack confidence and self-belief.

Confidence and motivation go hand in hand with achievement – with each step forward your confidence will grow.

A proven method in achieving your goal is to break it down into mini-milestones that you can strive to achieve on a weekly basis. Bite-sized wins will take you one step closer to your main goal and progression will make you feel accomplished and happy which in turn builds confidence.

After a few weeks or months of progression, you will start to believe the goal is achievable.

Achieving your goals will make you happy which releases feel-good hormones, endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin which will motivate you to keep showing up daily and building on your newly found confidence.

Do not wait for someone to believe in you. Believe in yourself and have faith that you can do it. Those small wins over time will build a strong foundation that you can call on time again when doubt creeps in and you question whether you can do something. Remember that small, achievable goals, ticked off regularly, will equate to big achievements over time.
