Gonna clear one thing up…
If you are in a calorie deficit or watching your macro intake,fructose will be absorbed like a low GI carb,because it takes a different path to glucose,travels round the body once then to the liver,thus ,its actually used slower,so now its technically a low Gi carb…..If your liver is full off glucose(ie eaten a higher amount of calories),well than yes it can,but any large amount of food can put weight on.
Moral to the story is FRUIT is awesome so dig in!!
