Many of you will know that I spend a lot of time working with young people by providing a safe, non-clinical space where they can talk about their challenges and anything that is causing them stress.
I am delighted to announce that I have teamed up with YouTurn Youth Support and together we will be running 8-week programs aimed at helping our young people who are struggling.
The courses will be held at my gym at Warana and will offer a relaxed environment, free of judgement where young people can chat and talk and will equip them with tools to help them navigate some of the challenges they are facing.
The program will cover motivation, goal setting and planning, resilience building, dealing with anxiety, exercise and nutrition, self-care, mindfulness and gratitude journaling.
I will deliver the course and the 8-week program will commence around mid-July 2022 and will start at 5:00pm on Tuesdays or Thursdays.
They will be 90-minute sessions and the course is available for young people aged 12-15 and 16-25 years.
Importantly the cost to participants will be minimal and will be subsidised by Youturn. However, places are limited and are filling fast. For more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
